Tomcat with 6.0L 485HP Corvette V8

A fast and versatile Tomcat, built in 2010 by D&G Tuning in Belgium.
This car has only seen a few races, which were used to perfect the driveline and setup. With a breathtaking speed, easy handling driving this Tomcat is good fun. The heart of the car is a 6.0L Corvette V8, a crate engine which delivers almost 500 HP. This is 'quite enough' for most situations, and with the special transfercase the car can handle both high speeds and extremely difficult terrain.

Built to handle the power of the engine and transfer it to the wheels, this car is bulletproof. From the chassis to the last knuckle, everything has been strenghtened to hold in extreme conditions. Behind the Corvette engine sits a special made TH400 automatic gearbox and a STAK transfercase with several gearsets. Tough Spider9 axles from Spidertrax hold lockable diffs, and the Staun beadlocks allow for low tyrepressures.

This Tomcat is competitive in big rally-raids such as the Africa Race, Rallye Breslau or Touareg in Morocco, but is also suitable for club competition or plain offroad fun.
